Job Title Pharmacy Retail Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all pharmacy floor staff to deliver the required level of customer service in accordance with our customer service standards and provide training in this area when necessary.
  • Manage excellence in customer service and refine the customer service standards as required.
  • Communicate policies and procedures to all relevant staff.
  • Manage staff issues in conjunction with the Supervising Pharmacist and the Business support manager.
  • Induct new staff.
  • Organise and conduct staff training including communication on new products.
  • Develop and maintain the store/ merchandising standards.
  • Coordinate and implement Promotions accurately and in the required time frames.
  • Coordinate accurate and timely maintenance of the Point Of Sale system; to include processing of all incoming invoices on the day of delivery and ensure balanced stock levels.
  • Manage the working relationships with Suppliers/Vendors.
  • Manage all buying parameters as set by the business.
  • Manage and document the correct buying protocols.
  • Manage and develop the correct stock receiving protocols.
  • Maintain good working relationships with your Manager and staff.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and energetic with a friendly and positive manner. An interest or past experience in a pharmacy business would be an advantage. Further training programmes will be made available as the need arises. Person should be a good communicator and should be able to operate with initiative.
